Mission
The Regional HIV/AIDS Consortium's mission is to foster and
ensure a regional approach to prevent the spread of HIV and AIDS
and to meet with compassion and dignity the needs of those affected
by the disease.
History
The Regional Consortium was founded in 1990 as a joint effort
between the Foundation for the Carolinas and United Way of Central
Carolinas. The Regional Consortium is dedicated to addressing
the impact of AIDS in the North and South Carolina region surrounding
Mecklenburg County.
